South Portland sits directly across the Fore River from Portland, and its neighborhoods each have their own feel: the beach-cottage streets around Willard Beach and Ferry Village, the classic capes and ranches of Meetinghouse Hill and Pleasantdale, the busy corridor along Broadway and Cottage Road, and the commercial district around the Maine Mall and Running Hill Road.
